Heading into the Silverstone Race Weekend for Rounds 5 & 6 of the Mini Challenge UK, CQR’s own Ben Palmer couldn’t be sure what the weather was going to do, and what challenges he’d be presented with over the course of the weekend.

Saturday soon made intentions clear with a very wet day - downpours continuing throughout Qualifying. Ben would put the car 7th on grid in the tricky conditions, soon to be promoted to 5th place after two drivers ahead were excluded from the results.

After a close fight for the teams championship in season 2 of the World GT Championship ( CQR are back again with another strong lineup for Season 3!

Discussions were soon underway at CQR's HQ after the season finale to put together an even stronger lineup of teams for the following season. With most drivers happy to sign up again it has mainly been a re-shuffle of drivers needed to ensure the best possible results based on attendance and other off-track commitments.

The teams are as follows:

Back in 2015 Team Manager Ashley Sutton lined up the perfect team for the 2016 season. It was the team to beat for the 2016 season having the likes of David Baker, Jamie Rushworth, Michael Hall and Ashley Sutton. The guys worked fantastic all year round and they were always in the top three every week, when they wasn't at the top.

CQR have now decided to more with times and give itself a new look thanks to the design team. We now aim to give you that modern look with a clean fresh website that is also compatible on your mobile. We have also got a new logo keeping the traditional bright yellow and black but mixing it up with some white and grey. You will notice that we have added three swirls, again adding to the fresh look but at the same time you know that when you see these swirls that it is associated with CQR.
