SUTTON JOINS FANATEC

November 14, 2016

'Over the years Simulator Racing has grown and it is becoming one of the fastest growing communities out there today. Racing today has changed and evolved over the years and preparation is now key, whether it is from your mental and physical strength or to learning a new track and practicing new techniques.

I got involved in sim racing at the start of 2011 during the three years I was sat on the side lines before my return back to Motorsport. I am still heavily involved today and a simulator is a big part of my racing career as it is any driver. That's when I got in touch with Fanatec to build a partnership and to become a brand ambassador for one of the worlds best. For me as a driver the best way to be prepared is to be in the sim prior to a meeting. Having the correct tools to do the job is key and to make sitting in your sim rig feel as real as possible. The aim behind this calibration of both parties is to improve my on track performance by using the Fanatec products as well as showing you guys how realistic and powerful Sim Racing is.

My first impressions on all the products was way on what i ever thought. The build quality is just something else and mirrors exactly what you find in a real race car. The feel and feedback that you get from the ClubSport V2 Servo WheelBase and the ClubSport V3 Pedals with the Damper kit is just like the real thing. The attention to detail on the Steering Wheels is to such a high standard, everything about them is exactly like my BTCC cockpit.'
